Windsor’s Mykaela Moore, Eaton’s Emma Pinkstaff signal to play school sports activities – Greeley Tribune

A pair of local prep athletes recently solidified their collegiate futures.

Windsor graduate Mykaela Moore signed to play women’s basketball this coming school year with Colorado Christian University in Lakewood.

Eaton graduate Emma Pinkstaff recently signed to play softball at Otero Junior College in La Junta.

This past winter, Moore, 5-foot-5, was a co-captain for the Wizards. She averaged a team-high 3.5 steals per game to go with 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

Windsor went 26-1 and was the Class 4A state runner up to Mullen.

“(Moore) comes from winning traditions and being in the state title game multiple years for 4A Colorado,” CCU coach Diane Thompson said in a news release. “Her understanding of complex defense is an understatement of what she will bring. Her gritty personality will be an asset to the team.”
