Windsor police seek for suspect after two break-ins, garden instruments stolen


Investigators are hopeful the public can help identify a man accused of breaking into a pair of Windsor businesses and stealing lawn tools.

According to Windsor police, the first break-in occurred last Thursday at around 2:30 am At that time, a man entered a business on Tecumseh Road East near Lespearance Road, and stole a number of cordless lawn tools.

At around 4 am, police say the same suspect broke into another business on Seminole Street near Drouillard Road and stole two lawn mowers and more tools.

The accused is described as a White man, around 6’2″ and approximately 220 lbs. At the time of the break-ins, he was wearing a blue, long-sleeved shirt, beige work pants, black work boots and a black face mask.
