Windsor man faces a number of weapon and drug expenses

A man has been arrested after Windsor police responded to a call about a person with a weapon Thursday evening.
Officers arrived in the area of Tecumseh Road East and MacDougall Street at around 6:30 pm The complaint involved a man riding a bicycle who was allegedly concealing a firearm and a knife.
Constable Darius Goze said a description was obtained, and almost immediately, officers spotted a suspect traveling northbound on MacDougall. He was arrested without incident.
Several weapons were seized from the man, including a replica pellet handgun, a knife, a collapsible baton, a flashlight Taser, several axes, and a slingshot. Police also confiscated an unspecified quantity of fentanyl.
The 40-year-old man is charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of a flashlight Taser without authority, failure to comply with a court order, and four counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited.
The charges have not been proven in court.
