Over 50 citations issued in Windsor enforcement blitz


Windsor police issued myriad enforcement actions against drivers during the latest in a series of enforcement blitzes.

Patrol officers were out on the streets Wednesday conducting various traffic checks. As a result, 51 enforcement actions were issued to drivers.

One of the citations issued was for stunt driving, when the driver was clocked to 106 kilometers per hour in a 50-kilometres-per-hour zone.

Other citations included one for driving while impaired by drug, and one for a driver with multiple license suspensions.
