One severely injured in East Windsor automobile crash, police say

One person was seriously hurt in a four-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Route 5 and Newberry Road in East Windsor Friday night, according to East Windsor police.

EAST WINDSOR — A person was hospitalized with serious injuries after a car crash Friday evening police said.

East Windsor police said a crash involving four vehicles traveling north occurred at the intersection of Route 5 and Newberry Road around 7:04 pm Friday. Several people were injured in the crash, according to police. Most injuries were reported to be minor, but one person was badly hurt and transported to the hospital, police said.

East Windsor police said they are working with Metro Traffic Services, a regional agency that assists at serious and fatal motor vehicle crash scenes, to investigate the incident.
